However, a sole proprietor or partnership lawfully using the title or designation “certified public accountant” or “public accountant” or an abbreviation of them in conjunction with those names or designation on April 26, 1960, may continue to do so if the person or partnership otherwise complies with this chapter.","path":["Title 8.
