The renewal fee must be equal to the fee established under AS 08.76.110(5).\n(c) Notwithstanding AS 08.01.100(b), if a person fails to renew a license before the expiration date of the license, the person shall pay the department a delayed renewal penalty of $100 in addition to the regular renewal fee.\n(d) If a person fails to renew the person's license, the person may not engage in business as a pawnbroker until the person's license is renewed or a new license is issued.\n(e) The department may refuse to renew a license under this section for reasons that would have prevented the issuance of the license to the person under AS 08.76.110.","path":["Title 8.
