{"data":{"id":"us-ak/as-10.20.460","jurisdiction":"us-ak","citation":"AS 10.20.460","heading":"Activities not constituting transacting business in the state.","body":"Without excluding other activities which may not constitute transacting business in the state, a foreign corporation does not transact business in the state by carrying on any of the following activities:\n(1) maintaining or defending any action or suit or an administrative or arbitration proceeding, or effecting its settlement or the settlement of claims or disputes;\n(2) holding meetings of its directors, shareholders, or members or carrying on other activities concerning its internal affairs;\n(3) maintaining bank accounts;\n(4) securing or collecting debts, or enforcing rights in property securing debts;\n(5) transacting business in interstate commerce;\n(6) granting funds;\n(7) distributing information to members;\n(8) conducting an isolated transaction completed within a period of 30 days not in the course of a number of repeated transactions of like nature.","path":["Title 10.
