{"data":{"id":"us-ak/as-12.70.280","jurisdiction":"us-ak","citation":"AS 12.70.280","heading":"Definitions.","body":"In this chapter,\n(1) “executive authority” includes the governor and a person performing the functions of governor in a state other than this state;\n(2) “governor” includes\n(A) a person performing the functions of governor by authority of the law of this state; and\n(B) the lieutenant governor or the head of a principal department in the executive branch appointed by the governor to act on behalf of the governor in performing extradition duties under this chapter; the appointment shall be in writing and filed with the lieutenant governor;\n(3) “state,” referring to a state other than this state, includes another state or possession of the United States.","path":["Title 12.
