{"data":{"id":"us-ak/as-17.20.336","jurisdiction":"us-ak","citation":"AS 17.20.336","heading":"Exceptions.","body":"Nothing in AS 17.20.332 — 17.20.338\n(1) prevents the Department of Environmental Conservation from\n(A) conducting inspections necessary to investigate reports of\n(i) foodborne illness or food-caused injury or death;\n(ii) unsafe sanitary practices; or\n(iii) misbranded or adulterated food;\n(B) condemning and ordering the destruction of misbranded or adulterated food;\n(C) ordering the cessation of a practice or procedure of a producer that is unsafe, unsanitary, or otherwise a risk to public health;\n(D) regulating food or an establishment that is not exempt under AS 17.20.332 — 17.20.338; or\n(E) providing assistance, consultation, or inspection at the request of a producer;\n(2) exempts a person from\n(A) applicable federal and local laws, regulations, and ordinances regarding food; or\n(B) brand inspection requirements under AS 03.40.250 or animal inspection requirements under AS 03.05.040.","path":["Title 17.
