{"data":{"id":"us-ak/as-26.05.450","jurisdiction":"us-ak","citation":"AS 26.05.450","heading":"Who may convene a general court-martial.","body":"(a) A general court-martial may be convened by\n(1) the governor;\n(2) the adjutant general;\n(3) the commanding officer of a force of the militia of the state;\n(4) the commanding officer of a division or a separate brigade;\n(5) the commanding officer of a separate wing.\n(b) If a commanding officer who is authorized to convene a general court-martial is the accuser in a matter, the court hearing the matter shall be convened by superior competent authority.\n(c) A superior authority may convene a case if the superior authority considers it desirable.","path":["Title 26.
