{"data":{"id":"us-ak/as-28.15.131","jurisdiction":"us-ak","citation":"AS 28.15.131","heading":"License to be carried and exhibited on demand.","body":"(a) A licensee shall have the licensee's driver's license in immediate possession at all times when driving a motor vehicle, and shall present the license for inspection upon the demand of a peace officer or other authorized representative of the Department of Public Safety identified as such to the licensee by the officer or representative. However, a person charged with violating this section may not be convicted if the person produces in court or in the office of the arresting or citing officer, a driver's license previously issued to the person that was valid at the time of the person's arrest or citation.\n(b) Violation of this section is an infraction.","path":["Title 28.
