{"data":{"id":"us-ak/as-28.23.110","jurisdiction":"us-ak","citation":"AS 28.23.110","heading":"Transportation network company vehicles.","body":"(a) Before a transportation network company allows an individual to accept trip requests through the transportation network company's digital network and before a personal vehicle may be used to provide transportation network company services, the transportation network company shall conduct, or confirm satisfactory completion of, a safety inspection of the individual's personal vehicle. The safety inspection required under this subsection must include an inspection of the following components of the personal vehicle:\n(1) foot brakes;\n(2) parking brakes;\n(3) steering mechanism;\n(4) windshield;\n(5) rear window and other glass;\n(6) windshield wipers;\n(7) headlights;\n(8) taillights;\n(9) brake lights;\n(10) front seat adjustment mechanism;\n(11) doors;\n(12) turn signal lights;\n(13) horn;\n(14) speedometer;\n(15) bumpers;\n(16) muffler and exhaust system;\n(17) tires, including tread depth;\n(18) interior and exterior mirrors;\n(19) safety belts.\n(b) A motor vehicle that is used by a transportation network company driver for transportation network company purposes may not be more than 12 years of age.","path":["Title 28.
