{"data":{"id":"us-ak/as-28.35.191","jurisdiction":"us-ak","citation":"AS 28.35.191","heading":"Failure to use headlights.","body":"(a) A person commits the offense of failure to use headlights if the person operates a motor vehicle without the use of motor vehicle headlights\n(1) between one half-hour after sunset and one half-hour before sunrise;\n(2) at any other time when, because of insufficient light or other atmospheric conditions, persons or motor vehicles are not clearly discernible at a distance of 1,000 feet; or\n(3) on a road that is a designated traffic safety corridor under AS 19.10.075.\n(b) A person operating a motor vehicle may not be required to use motor vehicle headlights except as required in (a) of this section.\n(c) Failure to use headlights is an infraction.","path":["Title 28.
