{"data":{"id":"us-ak/as-44.88.030","jurisdiction":"us-ak","citation":"AS 44.88.030","heading":"Membership of authority.","body":"(a) The membership of the authority consists of\n(1) the commissioner of revenue and the commissioner of commerce, community, and economic development; and\n(2) five public members appointed by the governor, each of whom has expertise in private sector business or industry, or both, and possesses demonstrated leadership skills.\n(b) If a commissioner described in (a)(1) of this section is unable to attend a meeting of the authority, the commissioner may, by an instrument in writing filed with the authority, designate a deputy or assistant to act in the commissioner's place as a member at the meeting. For all purposes of this chapter, the designee is a member of the authority at the meeting.\n(c) Public members of the authority described in (a)(2) of this section serve at the pleasure of the governor for two-year terms.\n(d) If a vacancy occurs in the membership of the authority, the governor shall immediately appoint a member for the unexpired portion of the term.","path":["Title 44.
