{"data":{"id":"us-ak/as-47.12.080","jurisdiction":"us-ak","citation":"AS 47.12.080","heading":"Release of minor.","body":"A minor who is taken into custody may, in the discretion of the court and upon the written promise of the parent, guardian, or custodian to bring the minor before the court at a time specified by the court, be released to the care and custody of the parent, guardian, or custodian. The minor, if not released, shall be detained as provided by AS 47.12.240. The court may determine whether the father or mother or another person shall have the custody and control of the minor for the duration of the proceedings. If the minor is of sufficient age and intelligence to state desires, the court shall give consideration to the minor's desires.","path":["Title 47.
