Code § 10A-8A-8.12","heading":"Partnership Name Upon Reinstatement.","body":"The name of a partnership following the filing of a certificate of reinstatement shall be determined as follows:\n(a) if the partnership is listed in the Secretary of State’s records as a partnership that has been dissolved, then the name of a partnership following reinstatement shall be that partnership name at the time of reinstatement if that partnership name complies with Article 5 of Chapter 1 at the time of reinstatement; and\n(b) if that partnership name does not comply with Article 5 of Chapter 1, the name of the partnership following reinstatement shall be that partnership name followed by the word “reinstated.”","path":["Title 10A Alabama Business and Nonprofit Entities Code.","Chapter 8A Alabama Partnership Law","Article 8 Dissolution and Winding Up."],"source_url":"https://alison.legislature.state.al.us/code-of-alabama?section=10A-8A-8.12","current_through":"Act 2026-611","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T14:01:53Z","sha256":"8d843764220d2a2928d7e6154acc6ed04c2480a249c29cb1229d777420c62f3e","source_id":"us-al","stale":false,"prev":"us-al/ala.-code-10a-8a-8.11","next":"us-al/ala.-code-10a-8a-8.13"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
