Code § 11-1-8","heading":"Closing of County Offices on Legal Holidays and for Special Circumstances; Deadlines Extended for Filing Documents.","body":"The county commission of any county in the State of Alabama may by resolution close the offices in the county courthouse or other county buildings on legal holidays set pursuant to Section 1-3-8, or for special circumstances deemed necessary or appropriate. Notice of the closing shall be posted at the courthouse and shall be published otherwise in the manner as the county commission may direct.
