Code § 11-4-22","heading":"Bonds.","body":"Before entering on the duties of his office, the county treasurer must give bond as provided by law, which bond shall be in a sum not less than $15,000.00, and in counties where the population is over 150,000, it shall not be less than $50,000.00, such bond to be payable to the county and conditioned as prescribed by law and to be fixed and approved by the county commission.
