Code § 11-50-140","heading":"Definitions.","body":"When used in this article, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:\n(1) ELECTRIC LIGHT PLANT. A plant and system for the generation, manufacture, and distribution of electricity or a system for the purchase, transportation, and/or distribution of electricity, together with all appurtenances thereto and all property used or useful in connection therewith, including franchises.\n(2) GAS PLANT. A plant and system for the manufacture and distribution of gas or a system for the purchase, transportation, and/or distribution of manufactured or natural gas, together with all appurtenances thereto and all property used or useful in connection therewith, including franchises.\n(3) WATERWORKS PLANT.
