Code § 11-95-1","heading":"Legislative Intent; Liberal Construction of Chapter.","body":"It is the intent of the Legislature by the passage of this chapter to promote the public health of the people of the State of Alabama by authorizing each county and any municipality located in such county to act jointly in authorizing the incorporation of one or more public corporations for the purpose of providing public hospital facilities in such county and to invest each corporation so organized with all powers that may be necessary to enable it to accomplish such purpose.
