Code § 13A-10-240","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this article, the following terms have the following meanings:\n(1) CREDIBLE THREAT. A knowing and willful statement or course of conduct that, based on the totality of the circumstances, would cause a reasonable person to fear for his or her safety or the safety of another.\n(2) GOVERNMENT. The term as defined in Section 13A-10-1.\n(3) GOVERNMENTAL FUNCTION. The term as defined in Section 13A-10-1.\n(4) PROPERTY. Personal or real property. The term includes, but is not limited to, any of the following buildings or real property:\na. A church, mosque, synagogue, or other religious real property.\nb. A public or private school.\nc. A hospital, nursing home, or other building housing disabled or immobile individuals.\n(5) VIOLENT ACT. A crime of violence as defined in Section 13A-11-70, or a violent offense as defined in Section 12-25-32.\n(6) WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION. Any of the following:\na. A destructive device as defined in 18 U.S.C. § 921.\nb. A weapon that is designed or intended to cause death or serious bodily injury through the release, dissemination, or impact of toxic or poisonous chemicals.\nc. A weapon involving a biological agent, toxin, or vector, as those terms are defined in 18 U.S.C. § 178.\nd.
