Code § 17-14-5","heading":"County Boards of Education.","body":"Except as otherwise provided by local law, at the general election of state and county officers in November 2006, and biennially thereafter, a member or members of the county board of education shall be elected for a term of six years to succeed those whose term or terms of office shall expire at that time.
