Code § 25-5-333","heading":"Elements of Program.","body":"(a) A drug-free workplace program shall contain all the following elements:\n(1) A written policy statement as provided in Section 25-5-334.\n(2) Substance abuse testing as provided in Section 25-5-335.\n(3) Resources of employee assistance providers maintained in accordance with Section 25-5-336.\n(4) Employee education as provided in Section 25-5-337(a).\n(5) Supervisor training in accordance with Section 25-5-337(b).\n(b) In addition to the requirements of subsection (a), a drug-free workplace program shall be implemented in compliance with the confidentiality standards provided in Section 25-5-339.","path":["Title 25 Industrial Relations and Labor.","Chapter 5 Workers’ Compensation.","Article 13 Drug-Free Workplace Program."],"source_url":"https://alison.legislature.state.al.us/code-of-alabama?section=25-5-333","current_through":"Act 2026-611","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T14:01:51Z","sha256":"5150cb4368388495be837795046b5a0fa07bcfd5f468971865e56659832bb57a","source_id":"us-al","stale":false,"prev":"us-al/ala.-code-25-5-332","next":"us-al/ala.-code-25-5-334"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
