Code § 28-7-4","heading":"By and to Whom Table Wine May Be Sold.","body":"Table wine may be sold in any county in Alabama which is now wet or may hereafter be designated a wet county pursuant to law, as follows:\n(1) A licensed wine manufacturer may sell table wine to any wine wholesaler or importer licensed to sell wine or to the board;\n(2) A licensed wine importer may sell table wine to any wine wholesaler licensed to sell wine or to the board or state;\n(3) A licensed wine wholesaler may sell, at wholesale only, table wine that has been purchased from a licensed manufacturer or importer to a licensed wine retailer or to a licensee of the board or other person lawfully authorized to sell wine in this state, or for export;\n(4) A licensed wine retailer may sell table wine at retail for off-premises consumption only; provided, however, a licensee of the board authorized to sell at retail alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption may sell table wine at retail for consumption on-premises and off-premises.","path":["Title 28 Intoxicating Liquor, Malt Beverages and Wine.","Chapter 7 Importation, Distribution, and Sale of Table Wine."],"source_url":"https://alison.legislature.state.al.us/code-of-alabama?section=28-7-4","current_through":"Act 2026-611","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T14:01:51Z","sha256":"3b3f716f8600f62efee1ec949acf50d86d2821f1ae488830d177a6d0949d1e77","source_id":"us-al","stale":false,"prev":"us-al/ala.-code-28-7-2","next":"us-al/ala.-code-28-7-5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
