Code § 28-9-10","heading":"Application, Transferee of Wholesaler’s Business; Successor of Supplier’s Business.","body":"(a) This chapter shall apply to agreements in existence on March 3, 1988, as well as agreements entered into or renewed after March 3, 1988.\n(b) A transferee of a wholesaler that continues in business as a wholesaler shall have the benefit of and be bound by all terms and conditions of the agreement with the supplier in effect on the date of the transfer; provided, however, a transfer of a wholesaler’s business which requires supplier’s consent or approval but is disapproved by the supplier shall be null and void.\n(c) A successor to a supplier that continues in business as a supplier shall be bound by all terms and conditions of each agreement of the supplier in effect on the date of succession.","path":["Title 28 Intoxicating Liquor, Malt Beverages and Wine.","Chapter 9 Business Relations Between Wholesalers and Suppliers of Beer."],"source_url":"https://alison.legislature.state.al.us/code-of-alabama?section=28-9-10","current_through":"Act 2026-611","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T14:01:51Z","sha256":"79a330056e169bdb76c91647e4232ee5b0e7422bb98c4fcc237586ea40cdea3e","source_id":"us-al","stale":false,"prev":"us-al/ala.-code-28-9-9","next":"us-al/ala.-code-28-9-11"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
