Code § 32-9-20.1","heading":"Appurtenance Exceeding Maximum Prescribed Width.","body":"Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 32-9-20, an appurtenance attached to a motor home, travel trailer, self-propelled camper or house car, truck camper, or recreational vehicle commonly known as an R.V. may exceed the maximum prescribed width provided in Section 32-9-20 if the appurtenance does not extend six inches beyond the sidewall of the vehicle. For the purpose of this section, an appurtenance is a part which is an integral part of the vehicle including, but not limited to, awnings, grab handles, lighting equipment, cameras, and vents.
