Code § 34-13A-6","heading":"Prohibited Activities; Violations.","body":"(a) After the board establishes the genetic counseling licensing program as provided in this chapter, an individual who does not hold a valid license issued by the board may not do any of the following:\n(1) Engage in the practice of genetic counseling in this state.\n(2) Hold himself or herself out as a genetic counselor.\n(3) Use, in connection with his or her name or place of business, any of the following terms:\na. Genetic counselor.\nb. Licensed genetic counselor.\nc. Gene counselor.\nd. Genetic consultant.\ne. Genetic associate.\nf.
