Code § 34-40-8","heading":"Expiration of Licenses; Renewal Fee; Continuing Education.","body":"All licenses issued by the board to athletic trainers shall expire on the last day of December each year. The license may be renewed on payment of a renewal fee, fixed by the board, completion of continuing education, and current licensee information, as may be needed. The board may reduce the renewal fee for a licensee who has been licensed less than six months before his or her license expires. The board shall adopt a program of continuing education for its licensees.
