Code § 34-5-16","heading":"Penalties.","body":"Any person, firm, or corporation who shall engage in any of the practices designated to be within the meaning of this chapter, or act in any capacity wherein a certificate or license is required without a certificate or license provided in this chapter, or shall in any other form or manner violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not to exceed $100 or shall be imprisoned for no more than 90 days or both and, if a corporation, shall be punished by a fine of no more than $500.
