Code § 34-7B-5","heading":"Board of Cosmetology and Barbering - Executive Director.","body":"(a) The executive director of the board shall be appointed by the Governor in the unclassified service of the state Merit System. The executive director shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor and shall perform administrative duties of the board.\n(b) The executive director shall hire all necessary employees of the board subject to the state Merit System.
