Code § 4-3-3","heading":"Contents of Certificate of Incorporation.","body":"The certificate of incorporation of the authority shall state:\n(1) The names of the persons forming the authority, together with the residence of each thereof, and a statement that each of them is a duly qualified elector of and owner of property in the state;\n(2) The name of the authority (which name shall include the words “airport authority”);\n(3) The period for the duration of the authority (if the duration is to be perpetual, that fact shall be so stated);\n(4) The name of each of the authorizing subdivisions, together with the date on which the governing body thereof adopted a resolution authorizing the incorporation of the authority;\n(5) The proposed location of the principal office of the authority, which shall be in this state; and\n(6) Any other matters relating to the authority that the incorporators may choose to insert and that are not inconsistent with this article or with the laws of the state.","path":["Title 4 Aviation.","Chapter 3 Airport Authorities.","Article 1 General Provisions."],"source_url":"https://alison.legislature.state.al.us/code-of-alabama?section=4-3-3","current_through":"Act 2026-611","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T14:01:52Z","sha256":"c7749bf4aa9ae5512f01eeb62afb817f6219a307f9d7d9cf1248f428514f17f3","source_id":"us-al","stale":false,"prev":"us-al/ala.-code-4-3-2","next":"us-al/ala.-code-4-3-4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
