Code § 41-29-298","heading":"Alabama College and Career Readiness Act.","body":"(a) This section shall be known and may be cited as the Alabama College and Career Readiness Act.\n(b) For the purposes of this section, the state apprenticeship agency is the Alabama Office of Apprenticeship.\n(c) Commencing with the 2025-2026 school year, a public school student shall earn one or more college or career readiness indicators approved by the State Board of Education, before graduation.\n(d) The State Board of Education shall adopt rules as necessary to implement and administer this section pursuant to the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act, Chapter 22 of this title.","path":["Title 41 State Government.","Chapter 29 Department of Commerce.","Article 3 Workforce Development Division.","Division 4 Alabama Workforce Council."],"source_url":"https://alison.legislature.state.al.us/code-of-alabama?section=41-29-298","current_through":"Act 2026-611","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T14:01:54Z","sha256":"f2506aeaf26a4f8e5e8e46e4eaf51805850195b9d3480244963399109dc525fe","source_id":"us-al","stale":false,"prev":"us-al/ala.-code-41-29-297","next":"us-al/ala.-code-41-29-300"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
