Code § 41-9-21","heading":"Composition; Qualifications, Appointment, Term of Office and Compensation of Members.","body":"The commission shall consist of the Governor, the Superintendent of Education, the Director of Transportation, the Director of the Department of Archives and History, all ex officio members and six other members to be appointed by the Governor, which said appointive members shall be qualified by training, previous experience, profession, or occupation in the fine and useful arts. The commissioners shall be appointed for a term of six years; and, on the resignation or death of a member, his successor shall be appointed by the Governor to serve out the unexpired term.
