Code § 43-2-696","heading":"Effect of Transfer Pursuant to Summary Distribution Order.","body":"The person making payment, delivery, transfer, or issuance of personal property or evidence thereof pursuant to an order for summary distribution issued under this division shall be discharged and released to the same extent as if made to a personal representative of the decedent, and the person shall not be required to see the petition or to inquire into the truth of any statement in the petition if made by any other person.
