Code § 45-20-60","heading":"Compensation.","body":"The Coroner of Covington County, Alabama, shall be entitled to a fee of thirty dollars ($30) for each inquest or other investigation and certification of the cause of death and twenty-five cents ($0.25) for each mile traveled in the performance of his or her duties.
