Code § 45-37-21.11","heading":"Applicability of Agreements to Transferees and Successors in Business.","body":"(a) This part shall apply to agreements in existence on May 22, 2013, as well as agreements entered into or renewed after May 22, 2013.\n(b) A transferee of a wholesaler that continues in business as a wholesaler shall have the benefit of and be bound by all terms and conditions of the agreement with the supplier in effect on the date of the transfer; provided, however, a transfer of the business of the wholesaler which requires the consent or approval of the supplier but is disapproved by the supplier shall be null and void.\n(c) A successor to a supplier that continues in business as a supplier shall be bound by all terms and conditions of each agreement of the supplier in effect on the date of succession.","path":["Title 45 Local Laws.","Chapter 37 Jefferson County.","Article 2 Alcoholic Beverages.","Part 2 Jefferson County Wine Franchise Jobs Protection Act."],"source_url":"https://alison.legislature.state.al.us/code-of-alabama?section=45-37-21.11","current_through":"Act 2026-611","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T14:01:53Z","sha256":"c3e8ee72927669dbb950723589a651da0bdf7e0064b22f19d83684f22a973cfb","source_id":"us-al","stale":false,"prev":"us-al/ala.-code-45-37-21.10","next":"us-al/ala.-code-45-37-21.12"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
