Code § 45-51-21.11","heading":"Applicability of Agreements to Transferees and Successors in Business.","body":"(a) This part shall apply to agreements in existence on April 2, 2014, as well as agreements entered into or renewed after April 2, 2014.\n(b) A transferee of a wholesaler that continues in business as a wholesaler shall have the benefit of and be bound by all terms and conditions of the agreement with the supplier in effect on the date of the transfer; provided, however, a transfer of a wholesaler’s business which requires supplier’s consent or approval but is disapproved by the supplier shall be null and void.\n(c) A successor to a supplier that continues in business as a supplier shall be bound by all terms and conditions of each agreement of the supplier in effect on the date of succession.","path":["Title 45 Local Laws.","Chapter 51 Montgomery County.","Article 2 Alcoholic Beverages.","Part 2 Montgomery County Wine Franchise Jobs Protection Act."],"source_url":"https://alison.legislature.state.al.us/code-of-alabama?section=45-51-21.11","current_through":"Act 2026-611","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T14:01:54Z","sha256":"4b7366fe45ea1396986222ee9b07d88ece1dfcef47377309570f634057490474","source_id":"us-al","stale":false,"prev":"us-al/ala.-code-45-51-21.10","next":"us-al/ala.-code-45-51-21.12"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
