Code § 7-2-606","heading":"What Constitutes Acceptance of Goods.","body":"(1) “Acceptance” of goods occurs when the buyer:\n(a) After a reasonable opportunity to inspect the goods, signifies to the seller that the goods are conforming or that he will take or retain them in spite of their nonconformity; or\n(b) Fails to make an effective rejection (subsection (1) of Section 7-2-602), but such acceptance does not occur until the buyer has had a reasonable opportunity to inspect them; or\n(c) Does any act inconsistent with the seller’s ownership; but if such act is wrongful as against the seller it is an acceptance only if ratified by him.\n(2) Acceptance of a part of any commercial unit is acceptance of that entire unit.","path":["Title 7 Commercial Code.","Article 2 Sales.","Part 6 Breach, Repudiation, and Excuse."],"source_url":"https://alison.legislature.state.al.us/code-of-alabama?section=7-2-606","current_through":"Act 2026-611","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T14:01:51Z","sha256":"2d80e839ffdf26c59352dc071dd53f28d5cd54237e706ecabb46a44cef49bb26","source_id":"us-al","stale":false,"prev":"us-al/ala.-code-7-2-605","next":"us-al/ala.-code-7-2-607"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
