Code § 8-12A-1","heading":"Definitions.","body":"The following terms shall have the following meanings:\n(1) DEMAND LETTER. A letter, e-mail, or other communication asserting or claiming that the target has engaged in patent infringement.\n(2) TARGET. A person located in this state that satisfies any of the following:\na. Has received a demand letter alleging that a patent infringement has been made.\nb. Has been threatened with litigation alleging patent infringement.\nc.
