Code Ann. § 12-18-107","heading":"Liability","body":"(a) A person or agency required by this chapter to report suspected child maltreatment who acts in good faith in making notification, the taking of a photograph or radiological test, or the removal of a child while exercising a seventy-two-hour hold is immune to suit and to civil and criminal liability.\n\n(b) If acting in good faith, a person making notification not named in this section is immune from liability.\n\n(c) A publicly supported school, facility, or institution acting in good faith by cooperating with the investigative agency under this chapter shall be immune from civil and criminal liability.","path":["AR Code","Title 12","Chapter 18","Subchapter 1"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"7aa6a0fa71546e76580641ac2156a2811a42bd6b614994b542c57d2de9fe16a4","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-12-18-106","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-12-18-108"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
