Code Ann. § 12-64-202","heading":"Apprehension of deserters","body":"Any civil officer having authority to apprehend offenders upon the laws of the United States or of a state, territory, commonwealth, or possession, or the District of Columbia may summarily apprehend a deserter from the organized militia and deliver him or her into the custody of the organized militia.
