Code Ann. § 12-64-403","heading":"General courts-martial punishments","body":"General courts-martial may, under such limitations as the Governor may prescribe, adjudge one (1) or more of the following punishments for each specification:\n\n(1) Confinement with hard labor that shall not exceed the lowest sentence limitations established in the Manual for Courts-Martial, United States (2019 Edition), as it existed on January 1, 2019, for the offense or three hundred sixty-five (365) days;\n\n(2) A fine or forfeiture in an amount that shall not exceed the lowest sentence limitations established in the Manual for Courts-Martial, United States (2019 Edition), as it existed on January 1, 2019, for the offense or three hundred sixty-five (365) days of the service member's base pay and allowances;\n\n(3) Dishonorable discharge, bad conduct discharge, or dismissal;\n\n(4) Reprimand; and\n\n(5) Reduction of enlisted persons to a lower grade.","path":["AR Code","Title 12","Chapter 64","Subchapter 4"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"a200ea54dff666e4741eb483dbdfdb6e3f1480f9d4c2799cf936b9e190df4342","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-12-64-402","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-12-64-404"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
