Code Ann. § 14-184-106","heading":"Other laws applicable","body":"Except as otherwise provided in this subchapter, the provisions of Acts 1881, No. 84; Acts 1899, No. 183; and all other laws of the State of Arkansas pertaining to municipal improvement districts, in general, as they may be amended from time to time, shall be applicable to a central business improvement district and shall govern the procedures for the operation of a district's affairs including, without limitation:\n\n(1) Giving of any notice;\n\n(2) Appointment of assessors;\n\n(3) Making and filing of assessments of benefits or reassessments of benefits;\n\n(4) Annexation of additional territory to a district;\n\n(5) Collection of assessments;\n\n(6) Enforcement of delinquent assessments; and\n\n(7) All other matters relating to the internal operation of a district.","path":["AR Code","Title 14","Chapter 184","Subchapter 1"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"dbd0207de53bd023898151c7b064b280a83430226e5c47a5b2922d7c1da731a9","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-14-184-105","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-14-184-107"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
