Code Ann. § 14-250-102","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:\n\n(1) \"Acquire\" means and includes construct or acquire by purchase, lease, devise, gift, or other mode of acquisition;\n\n(2) \"Board\" or \"board of directors\" means the board of a wastewater district organized under the authority of this chapter;\n\n(3) [Repealed.]\n\n(4) \"District\" or \"wastewater district\" means a nonprofit regional wastewater treatment district organized under the authority of this chapter;\n\n(5) \"Obligation\" includes bonds, notes, debentures, interim certificates or receipts, and all other evidences of indebtedness issued by a regional wastewater district formed under this chapter; and\n\n(6) \"Person\" includes any natural person, firm, association, corporation, business trust, partnership, federal agency, state agency, state or political subdivision thereof, municipality, or any body politic.","path":["AR Code","Title 14","Chapter 250"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"d1f066f7a420888d84748bc27b278005ea5580feb8b7ce2989c04bd00cacfe11","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-14-250-101","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-14-250-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
