Code Ann. § 14-26-103","heading":"Responsibility for providing coverage","body":"(a) County quorum courts shall be responsible for providing the workers' compensation coverage required by this chapter.\n\n(b) Each county quorum court is authorized to require reimbursement of its general fund on a pro rata basis from the budgets of its various county departments and agencies for whom the workers' compensation coverage is provided.\n\n(c) Failure of a county to provide the workers' compensation coverage as required in this chapter shall result in the loss of the county's general revenues turn-back from the State of Arkansas for the period for which workers' compensation coverage is not provided.","path":["AR Code","Title 14","Chapter 26"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"c3d50c6a00aae7a69cb392f5eb5ba4431023ab3d2166cfc018c51ce336886842","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-14-26-102","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-14-26-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
