Code Ann. § 15-11-303","heading":"Commission duties","body":"In furtherance of the purposes of this subchapter, the State Parks, Recreation, and Travel Commission shall:\n\n(1) Encourage the assistance and cooperation of public agencies and private businesses throughout the state in promoting the tourist industry;\n\n(2) Have the authority to accept gifts, grants, and donations of property, both real and personal, to be used in furtherance of the purposes of this subchapter;\n\n(3) Reject for display at any tourist information bureau any brochure, pamphlet, or other literature which is misleading or contains false representations; and\n\n(4) Make reasonable rules and perform such other duties as may be in furtherance of the purposes of this subchapter.","path":["AR Code","Title 15","Chapter 11","Subchapter 3"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"de4d728629d91e9a5f7eecf3fccb0ae13f98454730ef8edfb4ced33a6095dba8","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-15-11-302","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-15-11-304"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
