Code Ann. § 15-21-208","heading":"Right to enter private property","body":"(a) The State Surveyor or any employee of the Department of Transformation and Shared Services or of the Division of Land Surveys of the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Office shall have the right to enter upon private property for the purpose of making surveys or searching for, locating, relocating, or remonumenting land monuments, levelling stations, or section corners.\n\n(b) Employees of the department or division shall be immune from arrest for trespass in performing their duties as prescribed in this subchapter and under the direction of a registered professional land surveyor but shall always, when practical, announce and identify themselves and their intentions before entering upon private property.","path":["AR Code","Title 15","Chapter 21","Subchapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"859fb5814f59bf838364022fcdc1858b1aaafc102a9ac81be30f26951e2aabd5","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-15-21-207","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-15-21-209"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
