Code Ann. § 15-21-209","heading":"Exchange of information","body":"(a) When the State Surveyor so requests, the public recorder of deeds, mortgages, or other instruments dealing with interest in real property and all state agencies, boards, and commissions and all county and municipal officials shall furnish to the Division of Land Surveys of the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Office certified copies of records in their custody which are essential for the division to carry out its duties under the provisions of this subchapter.\n\n(b) Copies of the records shall be furnished free of cost when possible.\n\n(c) If a charge is made for the records, it shall be a reasonable charge based upon the actual costs of furnishing the records.\n\n(d) On request of state agencies and departments and county and municipal officials, the division shall furnish to such requesting officials or agencies certified copies of records of the division.\n\n(e) The records shall be furnished free of cost when possible, but if a charge is to be made for furnishing the records, the charge shall be based upon the actual cost of furnishing the records.","path":["AR Code","Title 15","Chapter 21","Subchapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"60a722975a8dff25328b76e8e07b7fafd652d3da52276a376685b0168a326c2a","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-15-21-208","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-15-21-210"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
