Code Ann. § 15-4-204","heading":"Arkansas Economic Development Council - Functions, powers, and duties","body":"(a) The Arkansas Economic Development Council may serve in an advisory capacity to the Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the Governor, and the General Assembly.\n\n(b) A primary function of the council is to approve the issuance of guaranties of amortization payments on Act No. 9 bonds under the Industrial Revenue Bond Guaranty Law, § 15-4-601 et seq.\n\n(c) The addition or elimination of international offices of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission by the commission shall first be approved by the council.\n\n(d) By a majority vote, the council may establish or dissolve committees and subcommittees as needed.","path":["AR Code","Title 15","Chapter 4","Subchapter 2"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"01b87da957ea09551e3ad9a2b0b70de9a46f90cd88a1da7b0622ebeefebf068f","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-15-4-203","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-15-4-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
