Code Ann. § 17-22-303","heading":"License required - Penalty for unlicensed activity","body":"(a) No person shall participate in or engage in the promotion of a combative sports match or exhibition in this state without first having obtained a license from the State Athletic Commission.\n\n(b) No person shall participate in a combative sports match or exhibition in this state as a manager, matchmaker, referee, judge, physician, or timekeeper, without first having obtained a license from the commission.\n\n(c) Any person mentioned in subsection (a) or subsection (b) of this section who does not first obtain a license from the commission before participating in a combative sports match or exhibition shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not less than one thousand dollars ($1,000) nor more than two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500).\n\n(d) A venue, entity, or person who knowingly assists in making an unlicensed combative sports match or exhibition occur shall be subject to the penalties under subsection (c) of this section.","path":["AR Code","Title 17","Chapter 22","Subchapter 3"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"571d0114cfd726a8d0373d57458e4ffc0a95522f781009f77ea021824fb7f77b","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-17-22-302","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-17-22-304"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
