Code Ann. § 17-40-309","heading":"License and credential - Classifications","body":"For purposes of defining the scope of licenses under this chapter, the following license classifications are established:\n\n(1) \"Class A\" means a license issued to an investigations company employing one (1) or more individuals;\n\n(2) \"Class B\" means a security services contractor license;\n\n(3) \"Class C\" means a license that includes the operations within a Class A license and a Class B license;\n\n(4) \"Class D\" means a license for a single individual operating as an investigations company with no other employees who are required to be licensed or credentialed under this chapter;\n\n(5) \"Class E Restricted\" means a license for an alarm systems company the work of which is limited to structures that are not required by the Arkansas Fire Prevention Code to have a fire alarm system;\n\n(6) \"Class E Unrestricted\" means a license for an alarm systems company that installs fire alarm systems that are required by the Arkansas Fire Prevention Code;\n\n(7) \"Class E-M\" means an alarm systems company license covering only monitoring;\n\n(8) \"Class E-S\" means a single-station alarm systems company license restricted to one-family and two-family dwellings; and\n\n(9) \"Class G\" means a general license for operations included within Class A, Class B, Class E Restricted, and Class E Unrestricted licenses.","path":["AR Code","Title 17","Chapter 40","Subchapter 3"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"a28fbf952eb840ffe12534e9b4b16a547e658b6a9944c1fa61bfd4ea175b3fef","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-17-40-308","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-17-40-310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
