Code Ann. § 17-89-308","heading":"Continuing education program","body":"(a) The Arkansas Board of Dispensing Opticians may institute a program for continuing education for its licensees.\n\n(b) The board may require proof of successful completion of its continuing education requirements as a condition for renewal of license, except that the board shall not require more than nine (9) clock hours of continuing education within any two-year period.\n\n(c) Only courses approved by the board shall be acceptable for satisfying the continuing education requirements.\n\n(d) The board shall promulgate rules to implement this section.","path":["AR Code","Title 17","Chapter 89","Subchapter 3"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"efc98e5b9d69fa46f9da40f2246bc1e715373d92aea041d29a49f97672020da1","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-17-89-307","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-17-89-309"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
