Code Ann. § 17-92-701","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this subchapter:\n\n(1) \"Board-approved intervenors\" means persons trained in intervention and designated by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy to implement the intervention process when necessary;\n\n(2) \"Impaired pharmacist\" means a pharmacist who is unable to practice pharmacy with reasonable skill, competency, or safety to the public because of substance abuse;\n\n(3) \"Impaired pharmacist program\" means a plan approved by the board for intervention, treatment, and rehabilitation of an impaired pharmacist;\n\n(4) \"Intervention\" means a process whereby an allegedly impaired pharmacist is confronted by the board or board-approved intervenors who provide documentation that a problem exists and attempt to convince the pharmacist to seek evaluation and treatment;\n\n(5) \"Rehabilitation\" means the process whereby an impaired pharmacist advances in an impaired pharmacist program to an optimal level of competence to practice pharmacy without endangering the public; and\n\n(6) \"Verification\" means a process whereby alleged professional impairment is identified or established.","path":["AR Code","Title 17","Chapter 92","Subchapter 7"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"a483dd8316da743ba457072e1394dcea4e0f55887ab1f0a4f455c2bb13722452","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-17-92-607","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-17-92-702"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
