Code Ann. § 17-95-1003","heading":"Registration","body":"The Arkansas State Medical Board shall register as a surgical technologist an applicant who:\n\n(1) Has successfully completed a nationally accredited surgical technology program and holds a current credential as a certified surgical technologist from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or its successor or a national organization approved by the Arkansas State Medical Board;\n\n(2) Has successfully completed a surgical technologist training program during the person's service as a member of any branch of the United States Armed Forces; or\n\n(3) Has been employed to practice as a surgical technologist at any time within the six (6) months before July 1, 2017, if the applicant registers with the Arkansas State Medical Board on or before March 31, 2020.","path":["AR Code","Title 17","Chapter 95","Subchapter 10"],"source_url":"https://oss-data-us.vaquill.ai/v2026.08/us_ar_statutes.parquet","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:41Z","sha256":"2ee8dc2c307b0337081862510e8b125666a96a2b7191f8912fcce7241303c3eb","source_id":"us-ar","stale":false,"prev":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-17-95-1002","next":"us-ar/ark.-code-ann.-17-95-1004"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
